Accommodation
The farmhouse is part of the small hamlet of Rovigliano which, set
around a classic Italian villa, enjoys an elevated position on the
Umbria/Tuscany border. No through traffic guarantees very peaceful
rest.
The house possesses many period features, including many exposed beams,
large open fireplace, terracotta floors, stone stairways. Thick
stone walls keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The property
has large proportioned bedrooms with high ceilings. Two secluded patio
areas at the front and the back of the house overlook wooded hillsides,
and are well equipped with outdoor furniture. Unconverted barns
are located near to the main farmhouse.
Casa Rovigliano is a real escape destination from the hustle and bustle
of modern life. That is why we haven't installed telephone/modem lines
and TV.
We are sure that you will not miss the shortage of modern communications
while here! By the way, mobile phones work fine on the top floor and
outside.
Casa Rovigliano offers spacious accommodation on three floors for up to ten people:
two double rooms, two twin rooms, double sofa bed in the sitting room.
Electricity - mains 220W. Water - mains. Central heating. Surfaced road to house.

Kitchen
Retaining its original character, the kitchen is equipped with all
modern appliances such as a four ring gas cooker, large fridge/freezer
and a dishwasher.
Sitting room
Spacious beamed room comfortably furnished with traditional style
furniture. Equipped with a modern stereo system (CD/Mini Disk player/radio).
Double
sofa bed.
Dining Room
On the same floor as the kitchen and the living room but separate
from them with a large traditional stone fireplace. Logs are
provided.
Top Floor
External staircase to:

2 bedrooms - one double, one twin. Each room has shutters to protect
from the heat and the light.
Bathroom
Large fully fitted family bathroom with stunning views over the valley
and the hills.

Each room has shutters to protect from the heat and the light.

Spiral metal staircase down to a smaller bathroom with shower, wash
basin and toilet. Storage area. French windows on to second patio.
